About Me

Hi! I’m the little sister! My name is Megan Johnson and I create custom cakes, cupcakes and treats to help celebrate any occasion. I have officially been Little Sister Bake Shoppe since 2018, but I have been baking since my childhood.

I bake everything out my rental kitchen at 205 Centre Street in Downtown Royalton. Everything I make is custom made to order, and that takes time. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks notice on placing any custom orders. Please note that I do try my best to create a truly unique dessert for you, I love inspiration pictures to really get a good sense of what you want, but I will not copy a reference photo 100% unless if it is one from my own personal gallery. I value other artist’s work, and I respect the time and talent they have put into their own work.

I live in Royalton Minnesota with my husband, Bryce and three kids. I also work full time at the the high school here (during the school year) in addition to baking. So it’s never a boring moment in my house.

As a cottage food producer I am licensed through the MN Department of Agriculture to bake out of my home. I do have big goals of opening my own storefront with a coffee shop down the road, but I am a little like Goldilocks, I need that perfect fit.
